Vocational Education and Training (VET) is hands-on practical training that gives students skills and knowledge to move into the workforce. It involves students taking part in nationally recognised qualifications.
At Bowden Brompton Community School Year 10 students are given opportunities to participate in Short VET Accredited and Non-Accredited Programs. In years 11 and 12 students can participate in Certificate II through to Certificate III in a range of different areas.
Choice subjects
Choice Subjects are specially tailored subjects offered throughout middle and senior school that focus on students’ interests and passions. They provide opportunities for students to explore and learn through a range of learning areas, including PE, Art, Outdoor Education, Food, Design and Technology, and Social Sciences.
